When intention is added to the recipe, sipping a cup of tea can become ceremonial, even sacred. The elaborate quality of a tea ceremony is deliberately designed to invite space, connect body and mind, and experience harmony.

The healing exists within the process, not just the cup of tea. So here's sharing both with you.

The tea: The Yogi Tea includes
  Hibiscus for blood health
  Moringa for immunity
  Jasmine for relaxation
  Tulsi as body tonic

The process: The nature of herbs ask for delicate handling, which we respect during harvest and drying. To carry this forward during preparation means steep rather than boil herbs.

If you

have a tea pot, make pot tea: Add the herbs to the pot and pour hot water over it.

don't have a tea pot, make cowboy tea: Boil water, turn off the gas, add the herbs to the water.

In either case, cover and allow it to steep for at least 7 minutes. You can sip on the infusion warm or cool. The ratio is 1 tablespoon herb/cup of water.

Take that moment. Extend it. And soak in its being.
